Itineraries

Day 1

Arrival in Nairobi – Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or pick up from your preferred location in Nairobi, you will be warmly received by your professional driver-guide for a safari briefing before departing for the world-renowned Masai Mara. You'll enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley with stopovers at breathtaking viewpoints. You will arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch and relaxation. Later, you'll proceed on a game drive across the vast savannah plains in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and other wildlife that roam freely in this spectacular ecosystem.

Day 2

Exploration in Masai Mara National Reserve

You'll spend a full day exploring the rich wildlife haven of the Masai Mara. The reserve is famous for its high concentration of big cats and the seasonal Great Migration. With packed lunch or lodge meals, you'll traverse different sections of the park, including riverine areas and open grasslands where herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes gather. Your experienced guide will share insights about animal behavior and the Maasai culture that surrounds this remarkable reserve. You'll return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, you will check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch. This compact yet scenic park is known for its rhinos and beautiful alkaline lake that attracts numerous bird species. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a game drive along the lakeshore and acacia woodlands where you may spot white and black rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, lions, and flamingos. The park’s elevated viewpoints also offer spectacular panoramic scenery.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, you will check out and drive to the serene Lake Naivasha. You'll arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, you'll enjoy optional activities, such as a boat ride on the lake to view hippos and a variety of birdlife, or a visit to Crescent Island for a guided walking safari among zebras and giraffes. The calm freshwater lake provides a refreshing contrast to the savannah parks visited earlier.

Day 5

Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, you will check out and journey southwards to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch. Amboseli is famed for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro on clear days. Later, you'll enjoy a game drive across the park’s open plains, swamps, and acacia woodland in search of elephants, cheetahs, hyenas, and a wide range of bird species. You'll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6

Deep Exploration in Amboseli Nattional Park

You'll spend the day exploring Amboseli’s diverse habitats. The park’s swampy springs fed by Mount Kilimanjaro attract abundant wildlife, offering excellent photography opportunities. You will enjoy extended game viewing as you explore different sectors of the park while taking in the dramatic backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain. You'll return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 7

Amboseli – Tsavo East National Park

After breakfast, you will check out and drive to Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s largest and oldest parks. You'll arrive in time for lunch, followed by a game drive through the park’s vast red-earth plains. Tsavo East is famous for its red-dusted elephants, the Galana River, and the scenic Lugard Falls area. Keep an eye out for lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and diverse birdlife as you explore this rugged wilderness.

Day 8

Tsavo East – Nairobi

After breakfast, you will check out and begin your journey back to Nairobi. You'll enjoy a relaxed drive with scenic views along the way. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your preferred location within Nairobi, marking the end of your unforgettable 8-day Kenya safari adventure.
