Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest
If gorillas are the profound encounter, chimpanzees are the exhilarating one. Chimps are fast, vocal, social, and impossibly human. They call to each other through the canopy. They groom, they fight, they play. And when they look directly at you — with that uncanny intelligence — the 98.7% DNA overlap is unmistakably real.
Kibale National Park holds Africa’s highest density of primates. Over 1,450 chimpanzees inhabit its 795km² of tropical rainforest alongside 12 other primate species. The Kanyanchu community is fully habituated — encounters here can last several hours as the group moves through its territory with complete indifference to observers.

Tree-Climbing Lions & Kazinga Channel Boat Safari
Queen Elizabeth National Park delivers two experiences found almost nowhere else on earth. In the Ishasha sector in the south, lion prides drape themselves across the horizontal branches of ancient fig trees — a learned behaviour passed between generations, shared globally only with Tanzania’s Lake Manyara lions.
Then there is the Kazinga Channel — a natural 40-kilometre waterway between Lakes George and Edward. The afternoon boat cruise here is East Africa’s finest water-based wildlife experience. Murchison Falls — The World’s Most Powerful Waterfall
The Victoria Nile forces itself through a 7-metre crack in the earth and detonates downward with a force that generates a permanent rainbow and a roar audible for kilometres. The Nile boat safari — 17 kilometres upstream from Paraa — is East Africa’s finest river wildlife experience. Hippos by the hundreds. Crocodiles on every sandbank. Then the falls themselves, growing louder with every river bend.

- Entebbe International Airport (EBB) is the main gateway, 40km from Kampala
- Direct flights from London, Dubai, Nairobi, Addis Ababa, Johannesburg, and Amsterdam
- Most visitors fly via Nairobi (Kenya Airways, KLM) or Dubai (Emirates)
- Flight time from London: approximately 10–12 hours with one connection
